Rihanna Singer flashes her dimpled thighs

It had been a triumphant night for Rihanna, who managed to dazzle London fans with a secret preview of her new album at the Brixton Academy. But it ended in less spectacular fashion.

The pop star was seen struggling into a limo while leaving an after-party held at Mahiki nightclub in the early hours of this morning.

Her mini-dress proved that bit too short, her fashionable shoe-boots that bit too high, resulting in an altogether calamitous scene.

The 21-year-old gave a glimpse of her dimpled upper thighs - confirming that even the most glamorous of stars have a bad angle - and then seconds later flashed her nude underwear.

At one point she even ended up horizontal in the back seat of the car before eventually regaining her cool composure.

Rihanna had been partying at the celebrity haunt with her music mentor Jay-Z, who had earlier made a guest appearance with her on stage, and his wife Beyonce, who had come straight from a performance of her own at the O2 Arena.

It was the second night out in a row for the power couple, who were spotted at Whiskey Mist just 24 hours earlier.

The 21-year-old Barbadian is on a promotional visit to the capital ahead of the highly anticipated release of her new album, Rated R.

While she's been away from the stage for most of this year recovering from the fall-out of her assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, she proved last night that when it comes to her confidence in front of a crowd, she's never been in better form.

In a VIP show streamed live online by Nokia, the star delivered a thumping medley of her latest offerings and familiar favourites, including Don't Stop The Music, Disturbia and Umbrella.
