'I did observe Mumtaz ji in her earlier films because she was my reference point for the film,' admits Prachi.

Reportedly, director Milan Luthria was desirous of canning a kissing sequence between Prachi and Emraan... though Prachi swatted his request outright!

Apparently, Prachi's nerves turned freezing cold .. when she discovered that she was required to smooch 'serial kisser' Emraan Hashmi for a sequence in her forthcoming flick.

As per insiders, Prachi pleaded with producer Ekta Kapoor to be let off the smooching bit. Mercifully, Ekta assented... and a much relieved Emraan thanked her profusely too.

Prachi Desai born on 12 September 1988 in Surat, Gujarat, India. She is an Indian film and TV actress best known for her role as Bani Walia in the Hindi television drama Kasamh Se which aired on Zee TV. Prachi is the endorser, spokesperson, brand ambassador and the face of Neutrogena products in India.

She made her Hindi film Bollywood debut with Rock On! where she performed along with Farhan Akhtar, Shahana Goswami, Koel Purie and Nicolette Bird. Her latest Bollywood release is Ekta Kapoor production's Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai where she is performing along with Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut.

Prachi refuse to lock lips with Rajeev

Rajeev Khandelwal and Prachi Desai have moved to films after starting their careers with television, but the duo is still prudish about locking lips on screen.

Both Rajeev and Prachi had reservation about kissing scene for their film Main Joker. The director Vikram Tuli tried his best to convince the two but they didn’t budge.

Speaking to a tabloid, Tuli admitted that he wasn’t able to pull off the kissing scene which is supposed to take place during the shooting of a song. Despite the refusal, Tuli hasn’t given up on the shot.

Prachi Desai was quoted saying that she didn’t have a ‘no kissing’ clause in her contract and was willing to do whatever is required for the film. Rajeev though maintained that he didn’t want to supersede the director but he has reservation about kissing on camera.

Strange that our Gujju babe Prachi has no objections but it’s the hunk Rajeev who’s backed out. Fans certainly will be disappointed as they’ve been deprived of what could have been a famous lip-lock between the two conservative TV stars.
